GENERAL RULES
1. ALL Junior Riders cannot ride anywhere on the show grounds with out wearing protective headgear passing ASTM/SEI certification. Harnesses on helmets must be secured. Any Junior riders found violating this rule at any time will be prohibited from further riding until the proper protective headgear is put into place.
2. Any Adults jumping anywhere on the show grounds, riding in any hunter class and/or division must be wearing approved ASTM headgear (as stated above). Any rider violating this rule at any time will be immediately prohibited from riding until proper headgear is in place.
3. Adults are encouraged to comply with the above rule concerning protective headgear.
4. No drugs or alcohol shall be allowed on the SHSA show grounds.
5. All dogs must be on leashes.
6. Stallions are only permitted in the All-Breed conformation classes with an adult handler.
7. The decision of the judge is final!
ALL HORSES/PONIES MUST HAVE CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGING TEST WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS AND IT MUST BE PRESENTED UPON ENTRY TO SHOW GROUNDS.
CLASS FEES
$10 Per Class - Day of the Show
$9 Per Class - If pre-entered two days prior to the show via the SHSA website at www.vashsa.org or by calling 757-641-2896 BEFORE 9pm.
CONDITION OF ENTRY
Participants and visitors realize and accept the inherent risks of equine activities. Every horse entering onto the grounds will be under the control of show Management but Management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the show, the management, and the facility harmless for any loss, accident, sickness and or injury to him or her, any horse or equipment regardless of cause.

Pleasure ring will not start before 11:00 a.m.
Schooling in the show arena will be from 7:30 to the completion
of class 5, or to 9:30 a.m. Last 10 Minutes for beginners only.
