For the 2009-2010 4H year, participation in the Isle of Wight Young Riders 4H Club will be monitored by a points system.

All activities, events, and fundraisers recognized by the Isle of Wight Young Riders will be given a point value. If a 4Her participates in an activity, event, or fundraiser they will be credited with that number of points.

To be recognized as an active member of the club, 4Hers must accumulate 60% of the total points offered between October 2009 and September 2010, and maintain a minimum of 30% of the points throughout the year. Any member who fails maintain 30% of points or to obtain 60% will be notified by letter and will be considered an "inactive" member. Points will be monitored on a monthly basis, and updates will be available at each meeting. All point information will remain confidential.

Active members of the Isle of Wight Young Riders will have the privilege of:

-Applying for sponsorships

-Attending the 4H State Championship Horse Show, if they so desire

-Being eligible to participate in any Isle of Wight 4H funded leisure activities (trips, clinics...)

-Attending 4H Horse Camp in the summer
