JuneThe IOW Young Riders made a $200 donation, part of the profit from the ShowDown, to the Nicole White Memorial Scholarship Fund. This $200 helped to build the fund and put on the charity golf tournament at the end of June. MARCHWork on you Personal Community Service, which is due before Districts! FEBRUARYThe Isle of Wight Young Riders collected Teddy Bears for the Isle of Wight Sheriff's Department. The Bears have been delivered to the Sheriff! JANUARY -The Isle of Wight Young Riders hosted a Spaghetti Dinner and raised over $500 dollars for the Isle of Wight Animal Shelter. DECEMBER -The Isle of Wight Young Riders sponsored a local family for the holidays. A family name was given to us from an outreach program at a local church and the 4Hers provided them with all the joys of the holidays they could not afford. Thank you to all who participated in this project. I am proud to be the leader of such an outgoing and caring group! NOVEMBER -Thank you to those 4Hers who helped to gather over 100 hundred food items to benefit the FoodBank of Southeastern Virginia, which proudly serves Isle of Wight County.
